In late 2007, The Rebel Group formed a new partnership, Rebel Synch, which represents TV and Film Licensing rights for Independent Labels and Artists. Rudd’s management background provided extensive experience in the TV and Film world. Working with Atlantic Records and EMI/Astralwerks respectively, these artists have been enthusiastically received by the TV/Film and Ad communities, resulting use by Apple (Caesars “Jerk It Out” iPod TV campaign), Cadillac (Teddybears feat. Iggy Pop “Punkrocker”), Intel (Teddybears “Different Sound”), and TV uses on shows like Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI, One Tree Hill, and many others.
Working in partnership with Sat Bisla and his LA-based Pangaea Entertainment, Rebel Synch is creating a new model for connecting cool, Independent artists with insider TV, Film, Gaming and Advertising contacts. Rebel Synch has launched a comprehensive website allowing clients from around the world to log in and search for songs. Additionally, Rebel Synch is at the forefront of the licensing business in working with Networks and Agencies to streamline business process of completing licensing deals.
